Punching people in the face is great, but what makes you any different from an insurance salesman?
Well, when I'm done with you, you'll need an insurance salesman. I am livin' the dream, I get paid for my passion.. fighting. I've been fortunate enough to be the World Extreme Cage Fighting Lightweight Champion as well as the International Muay Thai Kickboxing Champion.
I've travelled the world training with the best fighters around, and learning my passion. I met my fiance (Penthouse Pet/centerfold) Lexxie Tyler at a business function that I hosted, and now instead of watching her videos and buying her magazines I go to bed with her every night. Being good at what I do also has given me the opportunity to have a relationship with huge companies outside of fighting like Famous Stars and Straps, who truly is a family. So to wrap it up, an insurance salesman ain't got shit on me.
Have you ever felt sorry for an opponent after a fight?
I really enjoy the training and learning aspect of my job, but nothing is better than smashing a guy who trained to fight you... there's no bigger rush. But when the referee stops me after it all wears off, yea I feel a little bad, but I think they would've if they could've.
When's the last time someone picked a fight with you in the street or at a bar? How did that go?
Funny, everyone always asks that question. Umm, honestly a lot of people recognize me on the street. When I used to drink I had a few altercations which didn't end up very well for the other guy. Without incriminating myself let's just say I hope you like hospital food if you fuck around.

Congrats on the new engagement and the news that you're expecting a baby! Are you betting on a boy or a girl?
I found out on Father's Day, I was flying back from doing a seminar in the South. I was stoked to become a father, that's what you do when you grow up. I wanted a boy, but I only really want a healthy baby now... and the way I ran game I'm sure I'll have all girls for payback.
If money was no object, what's one thing you would buy your fiance?
Money hasn't been an object for me, I always said I just wanna be happy. I live my life by 'good things happen to good people'. Being cool to people got me introduced to Winston Jewelers, and when I decided that getting married is what I wanted to do, I went there and they hooked up a fat ring for me. So I got the one thing other than a healthy baby I would want for my fiance.
As an OC resident, how do you feel about the fact that Famous is brand born in the IE? Does that rivalry still exist?
I was born and raised in Huntington Beach and I even have the tattoo on my stomach to prove it. Famous was branded in the IE but has moved all across the United States to become a huge company. That kind of success can't be hated on, just respected. I rock Famous Stars and Straps everyday and I am OC local, you got shit to say, I hope you have medical insurance.
The IE/OC rivalry still exists, but being a professional cage fighter bridges that gap, cause you either beat 'em up or you join 'em, but you sure as hell respect 'em.
If you could pick anyone in the world to fight tomorrow, who would it be? Preferably nobody already in MMA.
I would enjoy kicking the fucking shit out of Osama Bin Laden.
What are some injuries you have suffered in the cage?
I have broken my right hand twice, the 4th and 5th metacarpal. I have torn my MCL, broken my ear drum, partially torn a leg ligament, and numerous cuts requiring stitches and straples. I once super glued a cut shut on my head while fighting in an 8 man underground tournament which I won.
Is being married going to make you soft?
HAHA!!! Maybe some people's faces soft, but not me. I'm refocused and grounded. I'm a race car in the red mutha fucka, you don't wanna race car in the red!
If you could fight in Mortal Combat or Street Fighter, which would it be?
Mortal Combat. I liked the 'fight till death' thing with different styles... and in Street Fighter I hate that fuckin' guy who can shock you, so fuck that.
